Wine Tasting: River Valley Wines, April 27th

Tonight we'll explore how the unique topography of river valleys helps to form some of the most notable wines in the world. Rivers make viticulture possible in regions with extreme temperatures. Steep river bank slopes make grape growing easier in cool climates because cold air sinks to the bottom and spares the vines from spring frost. Vineyeards along rivers also get reflected sunlight and heat from the water. In hot climates, vineyards along rivers typically experience cooler nights and the grapes preserve acidity. 

Our wine tasting program starts promptly at 6pm and goes until approximately 8pm. If you'd like to order a charcuterie board with your ticket, please also select one of our charcuterie boards below, along with however many tickets you'd like.

Tickets to this event and charcuterie boards are non-refundable.

Society Hall is located on the second floor of a historic building without an elevator. Please be aware that climbing stairs is required to access the second floor. If you require accessible seating, please indicated that in the registration form for this ticket and we will gladly host you on our main level.
